Shocking video emerged Tuesday showing the moment a 39-year-old man was stabbed in the neck at a Manhattan coffee shop, while brave customers and staff fought off the relentless attackers.
Footage obtained by The Washington Post shows the shirtless victim staggering into the Milo Coffee Shop in Washington Heights shortly before 6 p.m. as four men follow behind him.
As chaos unfolds inside 2440 Amsterdam Street, two employees appear to be preparing food.
“They went in and stabbed him,” said the coffee shop owner, who did not want to give his name. NBC New York.
Coffee shop staff jumped into action, with one employee jumping over the counter while his colleagues pushed the aggressive men away from the terrified victim, according to the video.
Moments later, another employee and a customer grabbed chairs and began punching the two attackers.
The footage shows one of the men choking the assailants before the violent attackers finally leave the store.

Police said the victim was rushed to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
The owner said it saved his life.
“We try to step in and protect him. We even fight them so they don’t kill him,” he said.
“I’m thankful nothing bad happened.”
Police said the attackers were still at large Wednesday night.
