NYC high school employee busted for inappropriate contact with girl, 17: sources

A crooked custodian at a public high school in Queens was arrested Wednesday for having inappropriate contact with a 17-year-old student, police and law enforcement officials announced.

A John Adams High School employee, whose name is being withheld pending charges, allegedly rubbed the inside of a female student’s thigh on Monday, officials said.

And on Tuesday, he allegedly creepily told the same teenage girl, “This could be you,” while showing her a video of him having sex with another person.

A student was taken into custody at the Rockaway Boulevard school just after 10 a.m. Wednesday after reporting lewd behavior by an adult, police and officials said.

Charges are pending later Wednesday, but he is expected to be charged with endangering the welfare of a child, sources said.

“This alleged conduct is reprehensible, and nothing is more important than the safety and well-being of our students,” Department of Education spokeswoman Jenna Lyle said in a statement. “This employee has been reassigned pending an investigation.”
