New York City Mayor Eric Adams spoke to a group Monday at a town hall meeting in Canarsie, Brooklyn, and said the sanctuary city law needs to be amended to allow immigrants with felonies to be turned over to ICE for deportation. .

Adams praised the government for doing a great job during difficult times, but said his hands are tied by federal and local laws.

The mayor spoke about how some immigrants take part in robberies and use mopeds to commit snatches and snatches.

Adams said the problem became so real that the police chief and his team focused on illegal mopeds and found that many of the people committing crimes were in possession of drugs and guns. It is said that he did.
