NYC shatters records as priciest popular tourist destination

A new study of the world’s 10 most visited cities finds that tourists pay more to visit New York City than any other popular tourist destination.

8. Dubai $465 per night

The Las Vegas of the Middle East can burn a hole in a visitor’s pocket without gambling at every turn.

Not the most surprising result on the list, but the French capital ranks near the top. The average visitor spends about $84 per day on entertainment alone.
