Democrats are concerned about Joe Biden’s reelection hopes.

Former President Barack Obama is becoming “increasingly involved” in Joe Biden’s reelection effort, according to a new report.

Breitbart reported:

Former President Barack Obama is worried about President Joe Biden’s chances of reelection and is “increasingly involved” in the Biden campaign, sources told New York Magazine.

Obama’s involvement reportedly comes as Biden campaign officials realize they will face a historic rematch with former President Donald Trump later in 2023.

According to a June model by economists, there is roughly a two-thirds chance that Trump will stage the biggest political comeback in modern American politics. Moreover, a March New York Times/Siena College poll found that 73% of voters believe Biden is too old to be effective as president, including 61% who supported Biden in 2020.

Obama’s role includes consulting to Biden’s campaign chairman, O’Malley Dillon, and Biden aide Anita Dunn, who worked with Obama, advising on digital budget strategy, helping with direct outreach with Hollywood celebrities and fundraising for the president.

Joe Biden is falling behind Donald Trump. Real Clear Politics average.
