Meanwhile, Trump has suggested implementing federal measures to combat crime in Chicago, drawing parallels to actions taken in Washington, D.C. “Over the weekend, six murders occurred in Chicago, and twenty people were shot,” Trump remarked, implying that Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is not seeking assistance to address the escalating violence.
