Ohio State Democrats Commit The Self-Own Of The Century

Ohio state Democrats attempted some good ol’ virtue signaling with an absurd piece of legislation, but they inadvertently committed the self-own of the century.

The bill, titled “The Conception Begins at Erection Act,” was introduced by Ohio state Reps. Anita Somani and Tristan Rade, would make it illegal for men to ejaculate while having sex without the intent of impregnating a woman. Men would potentially face a fine of $10,000 per ejaculation. But the bill makes some exceptions — how could it not? — for the Democratic Party’s favorite pet groups: porn-addicted masturbators, sperm donors, and everyone living in the LGBT fantasy world. In an op-ed defending the bill’s introduction, Somani said she was trying to make a point and draw attention to other “bad” legislation. In other words, it was a publicity stunt.

“What I am doing is making a point. Is my bill offensive because it dares to attack men? Maybe, but again, as an OB/GYN, I’m against regulating anyone’s reproductive rights … The goal was to draw attention to all of the bills that are bad legislation, including those that cut state taxes that fund public institutions like libraries, schools, emergency, police and fire departments, which then cause property taxes to be raised,” she wrote.
