Omar: Democrats attending Trump’s inauguration ‘sends the wrong message’

Representative Ilhan Omar (Democratic Party, Minnesota) argued that the Democratic Party, who attended President Trump on Monday, has sent a “wrong message.”

On Thursday night, Omar appeared in the CNN's “The Source” and asked the moderator Kate Run Collins about the number of Democratic members who attended instead of Mr. Trump's oath ceremony.

“I think there were some exceptions among those who came there for such a purpose, but I thought it was for me that there were a lot of people who had no reason. Omar sent a wrong message. “

Collins questioned what the message was.

Omar, an advanced Democratic member, responded that Trump was a threat to democracy. The President has stated that he intends to dismantle democracy through various presidential ordinances issued in the first week after his inauguration.

The messages sent by the Democratic members who attended the inauguration ceremony were “Sit here, bless him and hit his back,” said Minnesota Democratic Party.

“It's not a good message,” she said.

Collins asked the Democratic Party if they include former President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“I don't understand why they will attend,” Omar replied.

Some Democratic members questioned that President Biden had excessive tenderness to President Trump during the migration period.

He said, “Please go home!” When the Trump and his wife arrived at the White House. Biden also left a letter to “respect” in the traditional desk according to tradition.

Collins asked Omar about a chat between the two presidents who had never exchanged gentle words during the election.

“I think it was difficult for him to be a true American and patriot, and that he could not transfer peaceful administration. [he] Omar said, “I wanted to show the Americans how to remind them,” said Omar.
