Law enforcement officials were waiting for an American Airlines flight when it landed at Miami International Airport late Friday night after reports emerged about a female passenger behaving inappropriately and undressing during the flight.
The flight, American Airlines Flight 1779, left Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport shortly after 9 p.m. EDT on September 11, 2025, approximately two hours later than scheduled. It touched down in Miami around 11:23 p.m. EDT.
While en route, flight attendants signaled to the cockpit about a disturbance. They alerted the crew regarding a passenger in row 9 who was causing a scene.
According to flight data, the lead flight attendant notified that a woman in seat 9D had removed all her clothing and was engaging in indecent behavior, clearly visible to other passengers nearby.
The incident was reported through the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) to American Airlines’ Integrated Operations Center, prompting a request for law enforcement assistance.
Despite the situation, the flight continued on to Miami without any diversions and arrived at Gate D2 in Terminal N. Upon arrival, officers apprehended the passenger.
It’s still uncertain what actions the cabin crew took during the flight to handle this issue effectively.
Fox News Digital has reached out to American Airlines, as well as the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and Miami International Airport, requesting their comments.
