Patricia Arquette Opens Up About Filming ‘Terrifying’ Nude Scene In ‘Lost Highway’ As Crew Said Crude Things

Patricia Arquette recalled her terrifying experience filming a nude scene for Lost Highway in an interview with Variety on Thursday.

Behind the scenes, the actress revealed that she faced challenges while filming the film’s explicit scenes. “I was very humble and I was taking a bath in the dark. The scene where my character has to strip was terrifying for me,” she said. “I did that on ‘True Romance,’ but even then my body type wasn’t the ‘body type’ of that time. It was curvy, athletic, and strong, and I got criticized for that. There’s all this bullshit, like, ‘Your teeth aren’t straight,'” Arquette said. “Now that I’m watching ‘Lost Highway,’ I’m thinking, ‘It wasn’t that big of a risk.’ You look good, kid.”
