The Supreme Court on Wednesday struck down the subpoena on procedural grounds, declaring it no longer valid as Congress ended.

Pennsylvania Republicans argued at the time the vote was cast that subpoenas seeking voter information were intended to investigate possible changes to election law. State Sen.
