Peruvian Shamans Use Coca and Ayahuasca to Foresee Trump's Win in Venezuela in 2026

Shamans in Peru Anticipate 2026 with Rituals and Prophecies

A group of indigenous shamans in Lima, Peru, conducted a ritual on Monday, aiming to foresee events as they approach the new year 2026. They shared their insights with the media, suggesting these visions foretold the end of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and hinted at a potential World War III.

The eleven shamans participated in rituals involving images of various political figures, including President Donald Trump, President Maduro, and Russia’s Vladimir Putin. Alongside their predictions for the future, they also performed “purification” rituals intended to inspire peace among world leaders. Interestingly, President Trump seems to have undergone a particularly intensive “cleansing” process, as the shamans noted rising anxiety among American leaders.

Traditionally, such gatherings occur on the Pacific coast toward the year’s end. By using coca leaves along with ayahuasca—a herbal tea known for its psychedelic effects and often featured in indigenous ceremonies—the participants sought deeper insights into what might lie ahead.

In conversations with the Spanish news agency EFE, the shamans laid out their beliefs for 2026, forecasting significant upheaval and the risk of a global conflict. Nonetheless, they maintained that the United States would emerge on top.

“We see strong confrontations ahead involving President Maduro and Trump. Their ambitions and disputes might even push us toward a third world war,” remarked spiritual leader Cleofe Sedano.

Another shaman, Felix Roldan, suggested that Maduro’s allies, Russia and China, might not support him in maintaining his regime.

“Venezuela counts on China and Russia. Oil has attracted numerous supporters—not just Venezuela. Ultimately, it seems like the U.S. will be the victor,” he explained. “They’ve been preparing for this for quite a while, not just for a couple of years. The Americans are ready,” he added.

Maduro’s socialist government has faced significant backlash across Latin America, including Peru. His closest supporters internationally are, in fact, China and Russia, who defend Venezuela in institutions like the United Nations and resist moves that might allow it to benefit from sanctioned oil sales.

In mid-December, President Trump unveiled plans to label Maduro’s regime—a government that hasn’t had legitimate authority since at least 2018—as a foreign terrorist organization. He cited the regime’s failure to conduct fair elections as a primary reason. He mentioned that this designation would lead to a “total and complete blockade of all licensed oil tankers entering and exiting Venezuela” as a reaction to the seizure of assets belonging to American businesses amid “Bolivarian” socialism. In addition, the War Department declared Operation Southern Spear aimed at targeting vessels involved in drug smuggling from South America to the U.S. It’s noted that Maduro also allegedly holds a significant position within the Cartel de los Soles, a military-operated cocaine trafficking organization, and effectively leads Venezuela’s military, albeit illegitimately.

Beyond their concerns for Venezuela, the shamans were notably worried about Trump, diagnosing him with high anxiety and predicting health issues for him in 2026. They also forewarned of potential significant earthquakes and disasters globally, though they offered unexpectedly optimistic projections for Peru.

With elections looming in April, Peruvians will select a new president—the ninth in just eleven years—following several impeachment attempts. Currently, thirty-six individuals, many previous candidates, have registered for the presidential race. The shamans expressed hope that the elections would be peaceful, with little violence. They forecasted that Keiko Fujimori, daughter of former President Alberto Fujimori, might emerge as the victor.

Every year, the shamans gather during this time to reflect on the upcoming year. In late 2024, they had similarly made predictions concerning global politics and initiated rituals aimed at fostering world peace. They cautioned about the potential for a worldwide conflict in 2025, alongside a possible collaboration between Trump and Putin that would isolate China politically.

Spiritualist Juan de Dios García remarked, “I could visualize that the United States intends to ally with Mr. Putin and Russia.” He expressed concerns that such an alliance would not be welcomed by China, hinting at the potential for World War III.

In the U.S., some practitioners are also predicting a large-scale deportation of undocumented immigrants by 2025. They have suggested there might be a risk of nuclear conflict in Israel in the same year, urging Canadians and Japanese to manage their finances carefully to avoid betrayal.
