The DC Fire and EMS category confirmed that a small aircraft had dropped near the Potomac River near Reagan National Airport, and added a fire.
The Washington DC Police Station posted to X that it corresponds to the apparent air collision of the Potomax River, and added that several organizations have responded.

The video posted in X and captured from the Kennedy Center's web camera has been caught by an aerial explosion near the Potmax River.
