A Thursday article in Politico questioned why Vice President Kamala Harris' approval ratings aren't increasing due to the current “dream economy.”
The headline reads: “Harris enters election riding on a dream economy. Voters may realize too late.'' politiko Economics correspondent Victoria Guida wrote that current figures on inflation, unemployment and GDP show “solid economic conditions” for the vice president ahead of the election.
“The question now is whether it is too late to recognize Vice President Kamala Harris' accomplishments,” Guida wrote.

Guida pointed out this morning's report: inflation rate It cooled to a three-year low of 2.4% last month, which is higher than economists' initial forecast of 2.3%. He added that while the S&P 500 stock index is up 20%, the unemployment rate remains low.

“The positive economic outlook is a surprising win for Biden and Powell, even though consumers continue to feel pressured by high prices,” Guida said.
Although inflation fell from near-record levels in 2022, prices have continued to rise for the past four years. According to FOX business analysisfood prices rose by about 22.8%, energy prices rose by about 42.4%, and new car prices rose by 19.5%.
