There is no doubt that pro-Palestinian activists are guilty of “complicity against rights” in university “encampments” across the country. However, they have not been prosecuted by the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Instead, the Justice Department is indicting former President Donald Trump on the same charges for his alleged role in the Capitol riot.The Department of Justice is ignoring actual A conspiracy to violate the civil rights of Jews while pursuing political prosecution.
As Breitbart News reported last year, Special Counsel Jack Smith filed four charges against Trump in connection with the January 6, 2021, riot. One of the laws he allegedly violated was 18 USC § 241, “A Conspiracy Against Rights.”This law is one of them enforcement law Passed by President Ulysses S. Grant in the early 1870s, this law allowed the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) to deny newly freed black Americans their civil rights by attempting to intimidate them nationwide. The purpose is to punish and prevent infringement.
The text of the statute reads as follows:
Injury, oppress, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, territory, or district by two or more persons in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege guaranteed by the Constitution or law; or conspires to commit or intimidate. United States, or because he exercised the same.or
If two or more persons enter a highway or another person’s premises in disguise with the purpose of preventing or obstructing the free exercise or enjoyment of the rights or privileges secured;
These persons are subject to a fine under this title or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years, or to both. and if death results from an act committed in violation of this section, or if such act involves kidnapping or attempted kidnapping, aggravated sexual abuse or attempted aggravated sexual abuse, or attempted murder, this title. A fine shall be imposed based on the following. Alternatively, he or she may be imprisoned for several years or life, or both, or sentenced to death.
(Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty in the Trump case.)
It’s unclear how “conspiracy against rights” applies to President Trump. Smith argued in his book: indictment Trump’s efforts last year to cancel some electoral votes and send them back to state legislatures were a “conspiracy against the right to vote and to have your vote counted,” it said. But in contested elections, opposing sides often try to set aside controversial ballots. It is also difficult to understand how the rest of the law’s language applies.
In contrast, consider a pro-Palestinian “encampment” “on the grounds of another facility.” These prevent university students, faculty, and staff from expressing their dissent. They also interfere with the studies and safety of Jewish students. On Friday, former Harvard University President Larry Summers claimed that Harvard’s “camps” violate the civil rights of Jewish students. Similar claims are made in the lawsuit against Northwestern University.
Additionally, many pro-Palestinian activists participating in “encampments” and protests wear masks. keffiyeh Or the familiar KN95 mask during the coronavirus pandemic. They do so to hide their identity. The language of the “Conspiracy Against Rights” law specifically mentions people “acting in disguise” as the KKK has done, due to the insidious nature of such efforts. The “disguise” he wore at the “camp” was perfect for the crime.
Finally, we know that there are conspiracies that exist across state lines, and perhaps even internationally, to support the activists. Tariq Shepard of the New York City Police Department made it clear on Fox News Thursday that “agitators” are moving from campus to campus and that the money may be coming from “all over the world.” he pointed out.
NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Public Affairs Tariq Shepard told Neal: “We are very confident that we know that outside agitators and influencers have participated in the protests and will continue to do so.” “There is,” he said. pic.twitter.com/PKwKAdFyu8

Recent lawsuits against activists claim they are actually a front group for Hamas, tracking its organization and funding.
Therefore, a pro-Palestinian “encampment” fits all the elements of a “conspiracy against rights.” They also imitate the actions of the KKK to intimidate black Americans and use masks and inflammatory displays to frighten Jews. Trump did nothing of the sort.
But while Jack Smith goes after Trump, Attorney General Merrick Garland and Justice Department Civil Rights Division Director Kristen Clark (who herself has been accused of anti-Semitism) are speaking out about anti-Semitism on campus. keeping silent.
