Pope Francis funeral: Schedule, the Novendiali, Mass details

Pope Francis’ funeral will be held on Saturday at 10am at local Roman time (4am) and will be attending the minister of Christ, where more than 200,000 people have died.

Thousands of mourners took him to the Vatican this week to pay final respects to Pope Francis after his death Monday.

The funeral Mass will be held at Parvis in St. Peter’s Cathedral, and his most pastor’s outstanding cardinal cardinal Batista is the dean of the Cardinal of University, and will preside over Catholic ceremonies and blessings.

Mass usually begins with the entrance Antiphon, which is sung or recited by the clergy and mourners.

The Batista Cardinal then extends the first reading, reading, from the act of the apostle to the congregation of worshippers.

The poem of Reaction Sal “The Lord is My Shepherd” or “Poem sal23” should be sung. The second reading, from St. Paul’s letter to the Philippians, is usually recited by the president, established at the Pope’s funeral, and is heard among parishioners.

The Batista Cardinal gives Our Lady to the Holy Man, including the prayers of Pope Francis, faithful leaving, and prayers for the congregation. The dean of the Cardinal College of the Roman Catholic Church consecrates the body and blood of Christ and invites faithful people to receive communion following the rituals of communion and the prayers of the Father.

Requiem Aetarnam, a hym often heard among funerals, is recited during communion, followed by a prayer.

The Batista Cardinal will say final praise and farewell, including Roman church prayers and Eastern church prayers.

The funeral liturgy, “I Know My Savior Lives” is sung and chanted by the congregations, and the Mass ends with the Blessed Canticle of the Virgin Mary.

Pope Francis will be buried in a wooden cas at the Cathedral of Santa Maria Magiaore.

What to expect from Novendiali

The ancient customary nine days of prayer, memory and mourning period, Novendiali begins on the day of Pope Francis’ funeral at Parvis, in St. Peter’s Cathedral.
