Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade will join Fox & Friends to discuss meetings with VP JD Vances on Easter Sunday, when he passed away at the age of 88.
During his tenure as head of the Catholic Church, Pope FrancisThe man who died Monday at age 88 spoke about how businesses and the economy should support the poor while pushing back on his anti-capitalist proposal.
The Vatican announced the death of Francis on Monday after recently battling double pneumonia, following a series of health challenges in recent years. Francis had recovered enough to attend the Easter Sunday Festival in Rome.
Vatican officials announced in Monday’s update that the Pope had died from a brain stroke.
Born in Argentina and named Jorge Mario Bergolio, Francis was interviewed for Argentine journalists Francesca Ambrogetti and Sergio Rubin’s 2023 book, Rev. Elle.American magazines“-A Catholic magazine published by the Jesuits of America.
“I don’t condemn capitalism in a way that belongs to me, and I’m not against the market. [economy]”The Pope said, this means that the existence of regulators, that is, the state should mediate between the parties. It is a table with three legs: the state, the capital and the work.”

“There is no commandment in some parts of the Bible that creates poverty,” Francis said. He said it was popular and blissful.”The blessed are the poor In Spirit, “meaning someone who is not attached to wealth,” he said, “it is not a bad thing to produce wealth for all profits,” and added that “it is an act of justice to produce it, and for that justice to be perfect, it must be distributed.”
In the book, Francis stated that government support for the unemployed should be designed to “not affect the culture of work.”
In a statement to managers and employees of major companies and banks last June, Francis said businesses should focus on the environment, “the poorest and most discarded,” and the challenges associated with youth.
The Pope urged them to put the environment at the centre of attention, saying, “We live in an era of serious environmental crisis that relies on many individuals and factors.
“It’s not enough to follow the laws of our states that are moving slowly anymore. We need to innovate by predicting the future. We can imitate the choice of future prospects that has been imitated. Innovation of today’s entrepreneurs must be an innovation in caring for our common home.

He also urged people not to forget the poorest and the abandoned, “The circular economy becomes an important term, and we want waste to be reused and recycled. However, while we are recycling materials and its waste, we are still not “recycled” and not to abandon those whose culture of waste is frequently applied, especially the most vulnerable, especially the people and workers.
“It is important to note the particular “meritocracy” used to justify the exclusion of the poor. “The challenge is to include the poor in the business and create resources for all profits. This is possible. I dream of a world where abandoned people can become the hero of change, but does it seem like Jesus has already achieved that?”
Francis’ remarks also encouraged businesses to expand opportunities for young people. Young people often find themselves in the poor people of our time: poor resources, opportunities, futures. Paradoxically, this is a lot of them, but there are many of them, but like Italy, children are not born here, so they have both.

“We cannot learn to work without ‘corporate hospitality.’ This means generously welcoming young people when they lack the required experience and skills. “Well then, we encourage you to be generous, welcome young people into your business and get a glimpse into the future so that the entire generation doesn’t lose hope.”
In an October 2024 statement to Italian family business owners, Francis said, “The church is a family of God, and it kindly looks at everything that is family. First, then family: first, family, and in family, people.”
“In your case, you are characterized by the delicate balance between family and work. This is expressed in the courage and responsibility of an entrepreneur. It’s good. When courage and responsibility go together, it’s constructive,” he said.

“Like Church missionyour activities are generally territorial and are called to enrich you, both with the witnesses of family ties and the seriousness of your professional commitment,” he said. Don’t forget that everything is connected. Nothing is isolated. ”
Francis said family business owners should continue to “become part of a great job of serving the church, the bigger family, and the Kingdom of God and its justice.”

“Therefore, I encourage you to expand your mind, broaden your perspective and raise you between different generations, at home and business. This is important, and it is important to listen to it between different generations. Grandchildren and grandparents, this is very important,” the Pope said. “Whatever it is, trust your child’s calling – and open doors and windows to those who want to travel the road with you.”
“Remember the parable of talent. Nothing that is entrusted to you should be “buried”! Don’t be afraid.
