“‘Save my baby. Save my baby. Cut me open and save my baby,’ she kept saying to the paramedics in tears. And all I remember from the whole trip is the face of my passenger, looking for a heartbeat. I kept asking him if he’d found a heartbeat or heard anything, but he wouldn’t even look at me. As soon as I saw him, I knew he was gone.”

Police said the suspect was driving a white or silver passenger vehicle. Investigators are searching for video of the incident but do not yet have any suspects.
