Claims of Misuse of Taxpayer Funds by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
Former civil servants who worked alongside Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in the early 2000s allege that he charged taxpayers for massage services during his time as Britain’s trade envoy.
One anonymous civil servant mentioned, “I thought it was wrong… even though I said I wouldn’t pay, I ended up paying.” This individual claimed he initially refused to settle a bill for a “massage service,” but said senior management brushed off his concerns.
This ex-civil servant expressed regret over allowing Andrew to use public money for such expenses. “I can’t say it stopped him, but it should have alerted him that something was off,” he reflected.
Another source, a senior official at Whitehall, corroborated the notion of extravagant spending by Andrew, noting he indulged in costly flights and booked numerous hotel rooms for his entourage. The official said, “I couldn’t believe it… It felt like they weren’t spending real money.”
Concerns were raised about the lack of oversight on spending records. The civil servant lamented that Andrew’s expenses were often “rubber stamped” without proper review.
Fox News Digital has attempted to contact Andrew’s representatives and the Department of Commerce and Industry for their take on the matter.
After being reported, Andrew was released from a brief detention related to claims of sharing confidential business details with Jeffrey Epstein. Emails disclosed by the Department of Justice suggest he forwarded trade reports to Epstein, including communications about trips to places like Hong Kong and investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
Additional investigations by various British police forces are ongoing regarding the nature of Andrew’s relationship with Epstein. The Metropolitan Police are specifically looking into allegations that London’s airports might have been exploited for human trafficking purposes.
