Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Their Children Meet King Charles After Four Years

Harry and Meghan Reunite with King Charles

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children met with King Charles and Queen Camilla for the first time in over four years. Buckingham Palace has confirmed that this family gathering took place on Friday afternoon at the King’s private residence, Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, and was described as a “private family occasion,” according to reports.

The King spent quality time with his grandchildren, Prince Archie, who is seven, and Princess Lilibet, who is five. This gathering signifies a notable advancement for the royal family, especially given the ongoing tensions since Harry and Meghan stepped away from royal duties in 2020 to settle in Montecito, California.

Interestingly, Prince William and his family did not attend this reunion. Reportedly, William was busy with a charity polo match in Windsor. This suggests that the relationship between the brothers has yet to improve, and there have been no mentions of any planned meetings during Harry’s visit to the UK.

After spending time with the family, it’s unclear where Harry, Meghan, and their children chose to stay the night. The timing of their royal visit is particularly noteworthy, as just days prior, Buckingham Palace supposedly declined Harry’s request to stay overnight, indicating issues related to security arrangements.

This reunion is significant as it marks Harry and Meghan’s first visit to the UK together since 2022, when they attended Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. For King Charles, it’s also the first chance to spend time with his grandkids since the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee earlier that same year.
