Pro-Palestinian demonstrators disrupted a city council meeting in Berkeley, California, on Tuesday, chanting “Zionist pigs!” and “End Israel!” A video of the event shared by the Jewish Community Relations Council was aired during the meeting, which included a vote on establishing Holocaust Remembrance Day.
The anti-Israel mob also accused its members of being perpetrators of “genocide,” “traitors to this country” and “spies for Israel.”
According to the city council, the protesters appear to be claiming that councilors have been “bought” by the Jewish community.
“How much money did this give you?” one person can be heard shouting in the video. He added, “Coward! Follow the money! You gold demon!”

Demonstrators continually interrupted DeWitt as he addressed the council and talked about the 1,200 Israelis killed by Hamas and the “torture and rape” of women.
According to the JCRC, DeWitt was taken to the Dachau concentration camp at the age of four.
“No heckling,” DeWitt said, turning to the demonstrators in the room as a moderator tried to calm the protesters down. “Stop lying!” the protester replied.
“This is a Zionist stronghold,” another demonstrator later claimed, pointing at a city council member. “The people of Berkeley, the city of Berkeley, love Palestine.”

The protests come as pro-Palestinian protests have flooded the UC Berkeley campus since the Israeli-Hamas war began in October following an unprovoked attack by Hamas terrorists. It comes amid growing concerns about Judaism.
