Campaign Spending by Jasmine Crockett Revealed
Recent filings with the Federal Election Commission show that Jasmine Crockett, a Democratic congresswoman from Texas, spent a significant amount — over $25,000 — on luxurious travel and accommodations in 2025.
Crockett has gained attention for her outspoken criticism of former President Donald Trump and has become quite popular on social media for her bold remarks.
Interestingly, she is contemplating a run for the U.S. Senate, addressing what she describes as “karma” related to Republican-led redistricting efforts.
The reported expenditures include stays at high-end hotels and limousine services across various cities, such as Martha’s Vineyard, Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Some of the hotel costs listed are:
- $4,175.01 at the Ritz-Carlton
- $2,304.79 at Luxury Collection
- $5,326.52 at the West Hollywood edition in Los Angeles
- $1,173.92 for the Times Square Edition in New York City
- More than $2,000 at Cosmopolitan Resort and Aria Resort in Las Vegas
- $2,703.14 for Edgartown Inn on Martha’s Vineyard
- Another charge of $3,160.93 also on Martha’s Vineyard
Additionally, Crockett reported spending about $50,000 on security services.
She mentioned her potential Senate run as a response to the significant population shifts in her district, stating, “If you want to take away my 766,000 seats, I think there has to be some kind of karma for me to take your 30 million seats.” She expressed the importance of both winning the primary and the popular vote in the upcoming electoral landscape.
In a related note, progressive radio host Stephanie Miller recently stirred some buzz by posting a photo of herself kissing Crockett’s sneakers, an act that many interpreted as a humorous commentary on media support for left-leaning figures.
Crockett’s office has yet to issue a response regarding these spending reports.
