First appearance on FOXSen. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) has come under fire for supporting the massive spending bill signed into law by President Biden, which she says has caused price hikes and so-called “inflation nightmares.”

“The American Dream once existed in Nevada,” says a new ad from Win It Back PAC, which is affiliated with the top conservative group Club for Growth, “but thanks to Jacky Rosen, we’re waking up to a nightmare where the houses belong to the very rich and the rents are too expensive because Rosen’s big spending has caused housing costs to skyrocket.”

The new TV ads are part of a $4 million investment the PAC is making in battleground states leading up to the November election.

In particular, they noted Rosen’s vote in favor of Biden’s American Rescue Plan (ARP), which was touted as an economic investment to ease the economic burden caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the implementation of the ARP, both prices and inflation have continued to rise, which Win it Back cites as the reason.

Additionally, it highlighted the continued rise in rents and home prices in Nevada, even years after the ARP was signed.

“While you lose sleep worrying about your bills, illegal immigrants sleep peacefully with your tax dollars under their mattresses,” the video continues. “Breaking our laws and living our dreams. That’s Rosen’s record.”

Multiple media outlets have fact-checked whether illegal immigrants could receive COVID-19 stimulus checks and concluded that those who overstayed their visas could and likely did receive the money.

“Jacky Rosen is committed to addressing the housing crisis and lowering costs so hardworking Nevadans can afford to rent or buy a home and live the life they deserve,” Joanna Warshaw, a spokesperson for the Rosen campaign, told Fox News Digital in a statement.

“She’s fighting price gouging in the housing market from out-of-state corporate investors, calling for lower interest rates to lower mortgage and rent costs, and working directly with Nevada communities to free up public lands so we can build more homes that ordinary people can afford,” she added.

The Democratic senator is up for re-election in November against Republican Senate candidate Sam Brown, a retired Army captain who is endorsed by former President Trump.

The race is considered one of the most competitive in the nation, but Rosen got some good news on Thursday when the Cook Political Report, a top nonpartisan political forecasting organization, changed its rating of the race from “close” to “Democrats ahead.”

A June Fox News poll found that nearly half of Nevadans are unhappy with their economic situation, with 49% saying so. Just 13% feel they are making progress. Fewer than four in 10 say they are financially stable.

A new Fox News poll released Wednesday found that voters across the country are confident the economy will be the biggest issue in the November election, with 38% of voters saying the economy is the most important issue when it comes to voting in the upcoming presidential election.

Just 28% of respondents rated the state of the economy positively, an improvement from 19% in August 2022. That figure was down just one percentage point from 29% at the start of the Biden administration who believed the economy was strong.

Nationwide, 43% rated the fiscal situation as good, the highest level in more than two years, but down 10 points from the 53% who said the fiscal situation was good during Biden’s first year in the administration.

A majority, 73%, still claim the national economy is worsening, while 57% say their personal financial situation is worsening as well.
