Rep. Derrick Van Orden Defends Military Standards

The military’s strengthened standards are “prepared to maintain those who are not part of ground combat,” said Sen. Derrick Van Olden (R-WI). Breitbart News Daily.

Van Olden, “the longest serving member of the military to be elected to Congress in the history of the nation,” answered questions about the left-wing argument that it was designed to simply block women.

“I think it’s a red herring,” he said. “[I] I think it’s Baronie, and I think it’s more than made to try to trust Pete Hegses. He does a great job. I’m not just the Veterans Committee. I am also on the House Armed Services Committee. When it comes to monitoring, we have jurisdiction over these areas. I am also the longest service member to enlist in the US military to be elected to Congress in the history of the country. So I know what I’m talking about. ”

He said this was a specialist for him, and made it clear that “women are not specifically prepared to keep them out of combat. They will not sacrificed other qualified people to ensure that people who are not part of the ground combat are not expelled from the ground combat.”

“That’s it. The Chinese Communist Party doesn’t care what your pronoun is, right?” he added.

“It’s not about you. It’s not about you. That’s all. Do you know what? With the seal team, it’s not about us. It’s not about your platoon or even your team. It’s about America. “It’s not about individual members of Congress. It’s about the country. We can start working more seamlessly if people can see higher goals.”
