Marjorie Taylor Greene to Appear on “The View”

U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is set to be a guest on ABC’s “The View” next week.

She will join the show on Tuesday, November 4th, coinciding with elections taking place in several states. Greene, a Republican from Georgia, is known for her strong support of former President Donald Trump, which could create some interesting dynamics with the show’s more liberal hosts: Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and former Trump staffer Alyssa Farah Griffin.

Goldberg made the announcement on Thursday, noting the potential for differing viewpoints. “I don’t know how many things we agree on,” she remarked, “But I know the one thing she and I and all of us at this table agree on is this should not be affecting the American people.”

Greene expressed her excitement on social media, saying, “I look forward to joining the ladies on The View on Tuesday!”

The announcement has drawn mixed reactions, particularly from some conservative circles. One social media user commented that they were surprised to see Greene used as a pawn in attempts to undermine Trump, implying she was aware and agreeable to this situation.

In response to critiques about her participation on such platforms, Greene defended herself with some strong words. “There are pathetic Republican men (mostly paid social media influencers) attacking me for going on Bill Maher’s show and The View,” she stated. “Here is my voting card and nothing has changed about me, I’m 1,000,000% America ONLY.”

She even included a screenshot of her Conservative Review Liberty Score, which boasts an ‘A’ rating of 100%. Greene further stated, “Sorry I’m not sorry I don’t obey Republican men’s demands that I, as a woman, don’t remain seen but not heard.”

Additionally, Greene will appear on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher later that week. Recently, she has been outspoken about her party’s handling of the ongoing government shutdown, criticizing figures like Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Senator Ted Cruz.

On the Democratic side, Senate members have repeatedly blocked budget bills aimed at avoiding a government shutdown, demanding that any agreement include extended Affordable Care Act subsidies, which are due to expire at the end of 2025.
