Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) on Thursday shared a threatening voicemail sent to one of her staff members about recent efforts to keep transgender women out of women's restrooms.

“You bastard, you bastard.” Voicemail shared by Mace begins.
“You want to work under him.” [redacted] So, are you serious about talking about transgender issues? This idiot is a corrupt king. ”

“I literally hope you kill yourself after hearing this. I pray to God with all my heart that you kill yourself. Damn it,” the person said.
Mace, 46, was outraged after hearing the chilling voicemail.
“Now my employee is being threatened. Here is my response: F*** You,” she wrote to X.
“About to meet Mama Bear. FA and FO,” Mace wrote in another post.

People close to the House told the Post that the congresswoman and her staff have received multiple threats in recent days and have been reported to Capitol Police.
The threat comes after Mace announced a House resolution earlier this week that would block transgender women from using women-only facilities at the Capitol.
The congressman said Tuesday that transgender Rep.-elect Sarah McBride (D-Delaware) is “absolutely” the reason behind proposing a bathroom bill, telling reporters that she “doesn't want women's bathrooms.” I'm not going to support a man with a penis.” Locker room, that's no good. ”
Mace later doubled down on his commitment to “protect women and girls,” by introducing legislation that would ban transgender women from women's facilities “on all federal lands across the country.” revealed that.
Mr McBride, 34, insisted he would “follow the rules outlined by the chairman” [Mike] Johnson, even if I don't agree with them. ”
“I'm not here to fight over bathrooms,” she said in a statement.
