Drama Unfolds in Encino Neighborhood Over Adult Content Filming

Residents on a peaceful block in Encino might want to rethink their neighborly requests, at least when it comes to sugar. A four-bedroom home on Weddington Street, spanning 16,553 square feet and valued at $6 million, has become the focal point of controversy as it’s leased by Creators Inc., an OnlyFans company.

Local residents are expressing their outrage regarding the house being utilized for filming explicit adult content. Their concerns range from a large “CI” sign displayed prominently outside to more personal matters, like their children’s friends visiting and being exposed to what’s happening.

Neighbors have noted that women dressed minimally—sometimes just pasties—have been seen entering and leaving the property. For instance, a blonde woman was recently spotted leaving, microphone in hand, while a photographer donned attire signaling affiliation with Creators Inc.

While it remains unclear whether she is an OnlyFans creator or simply an influencer, reports indicate that filming has since moved behind closed gates following complaints from the community.

Residents have voiced that it’s not merely about moral judgments but rather issues of zoning, safety, and the disruption of their quiet neighborhood. One individual stated, “The main issue here is the presence of a commercial operation in a residential area.”

This home, functioning in this capacity since 2020, has become a busy hub for content creators, leading to filming spilling into the streets and happening before unsuspecting children.

“Every day, there are people in revealing outfits taking photos outside, alongside a steady stream of new faces coming through,” stated one frustrated resident.

Notably located near both a church and high school, this mansion is turning into something of a suburban headache for the community. “It’s not that I’m against women expressing themselves; I just think this is a family-oriented area, and it’s tough to see,” a neighbor shared. Concern for the impact on property values also lingers—”They’re making a lot of money while seriously affecting our neighborhood,” one resident lamented.

The controversy escalated when a swatting incident occurred at the house about a month ago, adding to the community’s alarms. Residents claim that they’ve reached out to various local authorities regarding their concerns, aiming to address the situation.

In response, Creators Inc. has issued statements pushing back against claims of disorderly behavior and zoning infractions, arguing that their operations align with local regulations. A spokesperson noted that some of the complaints appear less about legality and more about a clash of values regarding their business model.

Additionally, it seems that neighbors have received legal threats after raising alarms. As frustration grew, community members reached out to local government officials, reminding them that this arrangement could be in violation of zoning laws, complicating the matter further.

Still, residents are left feeling ignored and anxious about the future. One resident highlighted that despite their complaints, city officials may not see this as a pressing issue. The ongoing tension hints at unresolved emotions, leaving both the neighborhood and Creators Inc. at odds.
