Disruption at Minnesota Church Service Involves Anti-ICE Activist
An activist opposed to ICE caused a disturbance during a church service in Minnesota recently. This incident isn’t the first for Kelly, who had previously faced arrest outside the White House for yelling at families waiting to tour the historic site, as indicated by court documents.
In December, Kelly was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct after allegedly harassing police officers and families. Reports suggest he referred to those waiting in line as “Nazis” and used expletives during the confrontation.
According to a police affidavit, Kelly accused the officers of being “traitors” and provocatively questioned them about their duty, asking what it felt like to “protect a pedophile.” He even followed a pedestrian while filming them with his phone, escalating the situation.
When asked to cease his disruptive behavior because of children in the area, his response was, “Fuck you, this is free speech,” according to the affidavit.
After pleading not guilty during a January hearing, Kelly was released, with a next court date set for March 11. His attorney has yet to make a statement regarding the situation.
This isn’t the first church service Kelly has targeted. He has been known to confront worshippers outside Christchurch DC, where Army Secretary Pete Hegseth attends. He often shares these encounters on his TikTok account, amassing a following of over 77,000.
In a recent video, he provocatively addressed Attorney General Pam Bondi, asserting, “They want to come after me? Fuck you.” He went on to express frustration regarding the treatment of citizens, raising questions about life for certain communities in the U.S.
Both Bondi and Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon noted concerns about potential disorder in Minnesota churches, suggesting investigations under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act may be warranted.
