Robert F. Kennedy Jr. withdrew from the Arizona ballot on Thursday, a day before he and former President Donald Trump were scheduled to speak at separate events in the state.

Associated PressDespite submitting enough signatures last week to appear on Arizona’s ballot, RFK Jr. vice presidential running mate Nicole Shanahan and all of her campaign’s electors submitted notarized letters late Thursday withdrawing from the race in the state.
Earlier this week, RFK Jr. Announced He plans to “address the nation” on Friday but gave no further details. He will speak at 2 p.m. ET in Phoenix “about our current historic moment and the path forward,” his campaign said. Reported.
Shanahan said earlier this week that he was considering whether to stay in the race and “establish himself” as a third party, or to drop out and “work with” Trump, as previously reported by the Blaze News. He said it was “not an easy decision.”
In response to the rumors of an endorsement, President Trump said he would be “open to” considering RFK Jr. for a position in his cabinet.

“I think the idea of giving him some kind of role in some big three-letter organization or whatever and letting him destroy it is a great idea,” he said. “I think that’s what we need to do.”
Hours later, less than 15 miles from RFK Jr.’s Friday event, Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Glendale hosted by Turning Point PAC and Turning Point Action. The Trump campaign said Thursday night,Special Guest” attended the rally, further spreading rumors that RFK Jr. would be speaking at the rally.
The former president is scheduled to speak about his vision for reducing the cost of living and inflation, securing the southern border and improving safety. The event is scheduled for 7 pm ET.
In addition to President Trump, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kali Lake, Republican U.S. House candidate Abe Hamadeh, Rep. Eli Klain (R-AZ), Rep. Andy Biggs, Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), former competitive swimmer Riley Gaines, and Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb will be in attendance.
Trump told Fox News on Thursday night that he had “no idea” whether RFK Jr. planned to endorse him for president.
“There is a possibility that we will meet tomorrow and discuss this matter,” he added.
