Robert De Niro recently appeared on “Real Time with Bill Maher” and described a “nightmare” scenario in which former President Donald Trump would create an actual “dictatorship” if he won the 2024 election. I ranted about it.

De Niro called President Trump “an absolute monster” and “a mean, spiteful, hateful person.”
On his HBO show, the Hollywood actor suggested the US would become a “dictatorship” if Trump was re-elected and appeared to suggest the government would ban Bill Maher from hosting his own show. .
De Niro declared, “That can’t happen!”
The actor told Maher, “If he is, he will win the election. You will no longer be on this show. He will come looking for me. Something that none of us can imagine will happen. It’s going to happen. That’s what’s going to happen.” In such a dictatorship, that’s what he says. Let us believe and accept his words. ”
