Robert F. Kennedy Jr. allegedly to end campaign and endorse Trump: Report

Independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. is reportedly suspending his campaign and announcing his endorsement of former President Donald Trump.

Associated Press report said Kennedy filed a motion in support of Trump in a Pennsylvania court shortly before announcing his endorsement in Arizona on Friday.

“We wanted a fair opportunity. The DNC made that impossible.”

Kennedy withdrew from the Arizona race on Thursday after announcing he would be giving a speech crucial to the future of his campaign. The decision came even though the campaign had successfully gathered enough signatures to appear on the Arizona ballot, leading many to assume the independent candidate had decided to pull out.

Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday he would consider bringing Kennedy into his administration.

Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, has also said she was considering dropping out and endorsing the Trump-Vance duo, and has accused Democrats of unfairly obstructing her campaign.

“We didn’t want to be the obstacle. We wanted to win. We wanted a fair chance. The DNC made that impossible,” Shanahan said. “They banned us, they banned us from the shadows, they banned us from the stage, they rigged the polls, they fought legal battles, they sued us in every single state. They sent insiders into our campaign to disrupt our campaign and create real legal problems.”

In opinion polls display Kennedy supporters have been shown to prefer Trump to Harris, and many suspect that RFK’s withdrawal from the race could lead to stronger support for the Republican candidate.
