Sen. Ron Johnson Calls for Accountability on Coronavirus Origins
During a recent episode of FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) emphasized the need for a “reckoning with the coronavirus.” This came after former National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard claimed that Anthony Fauci, who served as Biden’s health advisor, misled both Congress and the public regarding where the virus originated.
Johnson stated, “I see now that he definitely needed that pardon.” He added, “We also know that Fauci was aware he was bypassing President Obama’s moratorium on certain capabilities. He was involved in funding this—40 of those instances were in Ukraine alone. Why did we do that? It’s clear he knew they were funding risky research at a lab in Wuhan. I mean, why would we share such hazardous scientific work with the Chinese government? There’s a lot that’s come to light.”
Continuing, Johnson remarked, “We’re uncovering more documented evidence. My key question is: What did he know? Did he really know? I’m curious to see how he will respond. He has that pardon, so he can’t really evade the questions. He must be forthcoming, and he should avoid perjury. This is going to be a fascinating hearing. My focus will be on our woeful response to the pandemic and the concealment of safety signals. Notably, they omitted my findings indicating that Peter Marks was aware of these safety signals. They are interviewing people like us to bring this information forward.”
He further criticized the traditional media, saying, “They’re completely silent about these shocking actions and the revelations related to COVID-19. We need to understand what’s occurring with the coronavirus and ensure that the American public is informed about what truly happened to prevent future occurrences.”
