Couple’s Roommate Caught Spraying Insect Repellent on Their Food

In a shocking incident in Southern California, a couple discovered their roommate spraying their food with toxic insect repellent, all thanks to hidden camera footage.

The video revealed the roommate, who lived with the couple in Santa Clarita Valley, wearing a gas mask while spraying groceries, including bowls of fruit and inside the pantry. It’s, frankly, pretty unsettling.

Following this disturbing revelation, the couple began to experience unexplained health issues. One of them, David Sonhopper, recounted to journalists how he ended up in the hospital, concerned something was seriously wrong. “I have liver problems, and she has her own health issues,” he described, mentioning the array of blood tests that followed. “We just didn’t know what was going on.”

Doctors then informed them that their symptoms resembled those of poisoning victims, which is alarming, to say the least.

After reviewing more surveillance footage from earlier months, they were horrified to see their roommate spraying repellent on their food again. “It’s just…we all have our own space, but share a kitchen,” Billy Sonhopper added, clearly taken aback by the breach of trust.

In addition to the food tampering, the roommate, identified as Timothy Bradbury, is accused of breaking into one of the victim’s rooms, tearing up clothes, and stealing medication and identification documents. “He’s a psychopath,” David said, capturing the couple’s growing frustrations.

When police arrived at their home on Tuesday evening, they discovered Bradbury barricaded inside, leading to a prolonged standoff before law enforcement could safely remove him. He was subsequently charged with misdemeanor battery and released.

Now, unsure about returning home, the couple has opted for short-term rentals, trying to find some peace of mind.
