Rosa Parks’ underwear, pimps, and unfortunate haircuts: The worst Met Gala outfits that went very wrong

The Met Gala: A Showcase of Fashion and Controversy

The Met Gala, an annual event where stars come together to display extravagant fashion, has drawn some eyebrow-raising reactions this year. Enter Dave Landau and Stu Burguiere, who shared their amusing observations. According to Landau, “When you see people, they’re all pimps; about 80% of them seem to dress up to celebrate black culture,” he joked.

Among the attendees, Lisa from HBO’s “The White Lotus” stirred some criticism for her outfit, which resembled underwear featuring Rosa Parks’ face. The lace briefs were part of a female collage by artist Henry Taylor, and fans were quick to recognize the civil rights icon.

Landau commented on the situation, noting, “I should probably mention this is a tradition here in America. If you look closely, you might just see the little faces of people. But honestly, I can’t tell if it’s actually Rosa Parks.” A representative for the artist clarified that the image was not that of Henry’s neighbors.

“That’s what happens when you don’t wear pants,” Stu joked, adding a lighthearted spin to the conversation.

Pamela Anderson also made headlines, with her striking new hairstyle drawing mixed reactions on the red carpet. “It’s probably the most fascinating night of your life; interesting haircut,” Stu remarked. Landau chimed in, describing her look as reminiscent of “a rocky Dennis haircut or perhaps a bowl cut for special needs, not that it should be for someone with special needs,” likening it to a quirky Jim Carrey style.

“I’m not sure why fashion ends up like this,” he mused. “It all feels like a prank. Seriously, a prank.” The Met Gala, as always, offered its blend of high fashion and unexpected surprises.
