Actress and former co-host of View, Rosie O’Donnell, who relocated to Ireland following the election, stated that President Donald Trump is experiencing a significant “cognitive decline” in a recent TikTok post.
In her video aimed at fans, the comedian, now living in Ireland, suggested Trump’s recent speech indicated he was struggling with his mental faculties.
“When will people recognize that he is undergoing cognitive decline?” O’Donnell remarked. “Can’t he articulate consistent thoughts or sentences?”
“He delivered a speech recently but couldn’t say the word ‘anonymous.’ He stumbled, saying, ‘It was Menon – Menon – Menominee…'” she added.
The leftist commentator further expressed concern, asking, “Isn’t it alarming that we can say our president isn’t fit for leadership in the free world?”
O’Donnell then criticized Trump’s supporters, saying, “And the delusion among his followers runs deep. I just can’t grasp it. This wealthy man who undermines everything sacred in America still receives their cheers. Have you watched that interview?”
Although O’Donnell seems to be implying that Trump’s decline is a recent development, she has been making similar claims for nearly ten years. Back in May 2017, she even suggested that a Trump tweet at the time demonstrated that he was “seriously showing signs of mental health issues.”
The former talk show host recently moved from the US to Ireland and indicated she felt as though she was still living in the United States after Trump’s considerable win in the 2024 election.
She acknowledged that her decision to move to Ireland was guided by her therapist.
Last month, O’Donnell, who rarely avoids criticizing Trump and his supporters on social media, expressed her anti-Trump views during various interviews, even claiming that former CNN correspondent Jim Acosta is fixated on her, among other remarks.
