Russia, China, North Korea Are Closer than Germany, Japan in World War II

He said this on CNN's “Outfront” broadcast on Friday. washington post Columnist and CNN host Fareed Zakaria said that Russia receives aid from China, North Korea, and Iran, and that “the Axis powers of Russia, China, and North Korea received aid from Japan and Germany during World War II. We are also cooperating.”

Zacharias said [relevant remarks begin around 33:30] I don't know if the current situation would be described as World War III, but I think it's fair to say that the outlines of a global union are beginning to emerge.Russia is actively receiving aid from China, North Korea, and Iran. And of course, Ukraine has the support of a very large group of Western countries and important non-Western countries. So from these points of view, this is one thing. Although the struggle is localized, the coalition is global. And if you think about the Axis powers of Russia, China, and North Korea, they cooperate more than Japan and Germany did during World War II. Yes, there is a global aspect to it. But I don't think it's a global war in the sense that it's not happening all over the world.”
