Sarah Paulson reveals the secret to her successful relationship with Holland Taylor.

“Holland and I spend a lot of time together, but we don’t live in the same house,” she added. “We’ve been together for a long time now, and I think it has to do with us being together when we want to be together and not being together when we don’t.”
Asked if he and the Legally Blonde star, 81, would consider having separate bedrooms instead of two homes, Paulson, 49, said: “No, we don’t sleep holding hands. “Because I like it,” he answered.
“We sleep holding hands. I like sleeping close to her.”
“I don’t want to be around her the rest of the time,” the actress joked before admitting it was “just a joke.”
Apart from living separately, another secret to the couple’s nearly nine-year romance is that they have grown apart.
“I think we’re all on our own paths, so it’s not exactly the same,” Taylor said in November 2023. “We’re doing some things differently to make sure everyone stays true to what they believe in.”
The “Wedding Date” star continued, “She’s more outgoing and I like a little bit of alone time, so we have that. She’s spending time with her friends and not with me.” So it’s balanced.”
Paulson and Taylor went public with their relationship in December 2015 after the Two and a Half Men alum gushed about his love for a mystery woman during an appearance. on WNYC’s “Death, Sex & Money.”

The Glass star, who first met Taylor in 2005, previously admitted he was hesitant to go public with their relationship after being warned that their age difference would harm his career.
“I thought, ‘Maybe I shouldn’t do it.’ So I thought, ‘Why not?'” Paulson said in a 2017 interview with The Edit.
“The fact that I have these thoughts is wrong. But I’ve had moments where I’ve had some social concerns. Maybe people who don’t know me are like, ‘Huh, what?’ I wondered if you would think so. But I did it anyway. ”
