Savannah Chrisley: ‘Charlie Kirk Would Have Made the Best President of Our Time’

Savannah Chrisley Honors Charlie Kirk at Turning Point Event

At a Turning Point USA event at Ohio State University, Savannah Chrisley expressed her belief that “Charlie Kirk was probably the greatest president of our lifetime.” She spoke on Tuesday, sharing her feelings of loss following Kirk’s passing.

“I know some of you attended Turning Point events after Charlie’s death, and I felt, well, somewhat lost,” Chrisley said during the “This Is the Turning Point Tour.” She described Kirk as a pivotal figure for the organization, someone who bravely confronted challenging environments, urging others to “Prove me wrong.”

“Now that he’s gone, I’m going to challenge you tonight in the same way I’ve been challenging myself since his passing,” Chrisley continued, urging attendees to face discomfort and embrace growth.

She added, “Growth doesn’t happen in comfort zones. It often comes from situations we’d rather avoid—the unexpected losses, the moments when everything falls apart, and yet we still get back up.”

Amid applause, Chrisley reiterated, “Charlie Kirk would have been the greatest president of our lifetime. I genuinely believe that.” She emphasized that his mission remains alive in each individual present, igniting a passion for change among those inspired by his legacy.

Reflecting on Kirk’s discussions, Chrisley mentioned imagining him conversing with Gavin Newsom, the California governor. “Let’s figure it out,” she quoted, highlighting how they spent two hours engaging in respectful disagreement without any disruptions.

“There were no walkouts, no meltdowns, no HR crises,” she pointed out. “That’s what Charlie created. It wasn’t about the social media battles—it was the bravery to engage with someone who opposes everything he stood for without reciprocating hate.”

She then encouraged the audience to connect with those holding different views. “Find the most liberal person on campus and buy them coffee. I mean it,” she said, emphasizing the importance of meaningful conversation and earning respect through dialogue.

“That’s how we win,” Chrisley concluded. “Not by raising our voices, but by becoming people they can’t ignore. Charlie did that every day, and so can you.”
