South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster (R) on Saturday night congratulated former President Donald Trump on his victory in South Carolina’s Republican primary, further cementing his position as the Republican presidential nominee.
“This is a great moment in American history. We’ll probably never see anything like it again,” McMaster said. Said Remarks after President Trump’s victory speech.
He added: “Every time a rocket launches, it slowly rises, and then it just rises and rises and rises, and then it makes a ‘boom!’ sound.” Will the next stage begin and end? Well, we’ve just reached top speed. And we keep going!”

As Breitbart News reported, Trump was declared the winner of South Carolina’s Republican primary just minutes after polls closed at 7 p.m. ET, based on exit polls.
Trump’s landslide victory was a huge blow to the state’s former governor, Nikki Haley.
Haley vowed to continue campaigning, although she has a long way to go to get the nomination.
