Biden’s Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has promised that Ukraine will join NATO, even if it means war.
“Ukraine will become a member of NATO, and our objective at the summit is to help build the bridge to membership,” Blinken told reporters.
This simple statement could have dire consequences, as Ukraine’s NATO membership is one of the main reasons why Russia starts the war.

“One of the things they didn’t want us to do was push Ukraine into NATO. So the goal of this big world conference that took place in Europe yesterday was to bring Ukraine into NATO. It was about getting them affiliated,” Glenn says.
“We’re in the middle of a war right now, and I don’t know if anyone realized this. Maybe we don’t want to inflame tensions,” agreed Stu Bruguiere, and Blinken. added: “Maybe we should be a little more sensible about the way we talk about this while hundreds of thousands of people are dying on the battlefield.”
Not only did Mr. Blinken make potentially devastating promises, but French President Emmanuel Macron also said he was considering sending troops to Ukraine.
“Remember, the other thing Russia said is, ‘If you get involved, you get involved, and I’ll target you,'” Glenn says.
