Schumer argued that Trump intends to use the judicial system for political gain, despite Trump being a target for government weaponization over the past decade.

“Donald Trump makes it clear that he is not loyal to the law and intends to use the Department of Justice, the US lawyers’ office and law enforcement as weapons to chase his perceived enemies,” Schumer said.
