Sean Stellato’s New Adventure in Denmark
Sean Stellato, a well-known NFL agent famous for his Italian flair, is headed to Copenhagen this weekend. He’ll be participating in tryouts for the Italian men’s flag football team. ESPN was the first to report on his plans.
His goal? To secure a place on the team for the 2026 World Championships scheduled for August.
The competition will include a 16-team men’s tournament, and the medal games will offer a pathway to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. It’s a big deal, really.
Stellato gained more recognition in 2023, often seen alongside his client, Tommy DeVito.
Speaking of DeVito, he became a highlight of the NFL as an undrafted rookie quarterback. He notably went 3-3 with the Giants while living at home, and he had this charming Italian way of celebrating touchdowns. Fans affectionately called him “Tommy Cutlet,” which was a nod to his love for his mother’s chicken cutlets with vodka sauce.
Not only does Stellato continue to represent DeVito, who’s now positioned second in the Patriots’ depth chart behind star quarterback Drake Maye, but he also works with Giants tight end Chris Manhertz and former Giants receiver Ihimir Smith-Marsette.
A Massachusetts native, Stellato played receiver at Marist College before transitioning to his role as an agent. He even spent two seasons in the AF2, a league for developing arena football talent.
