Ted Jenkin, a managing partner at Exit Wealth Advisors, notes that the attraction to buffets is closely linked to inflation, suggesting it’s prompting Americans to search for better value, again. He highlights that, when the costs of basic items like eggs and burgers see such spikes, spending a fixed price for unlimited food seems like a smart move.
He points out that buffets provide significant value, especially for families that may be struggling financially. It’s worth noting that in a buffet setting, nobody is counting how many fries or pieces of fried chicken you take, which adds to their appeal.
