Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt Join Season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars”
Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, known for their roles in “The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife,” will compete in Season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars.” This exciting announcement was made during a reunion special of their Hulu show, hosted by Nick Wile, who teased the news to the audience.
During the special, Wile shared that Affleck and Leavitt were selected for their popularity among the show’s production team. An official announcement is also set to come during a live segment on “Good Morning America.” It’s all pretty thrilling, isn’t it?
Interestingly, just days before the casting news broke, Affleck humorously revealed on social media that she went into labor while getting her nails done. In a funny post, she shared, “POV: It starts contracting when you book your nails,” showcasing her unique situation with a bit of lighthearted humor.
At this time, Affleck hasn’t provided any updates about her new baby, which will be their third child; she and husband Zack already have two kids, a daughter named Nora and a son called Lucas.
On a different note, Leavitt had been spotted dancing at a concert in Las Vegas prior to this news. She looked ecstatic while showing off her skills, and her husband, Connor, believed they were witnessing true talent.
The pair recently took a trip together to celebrate the upcoming addition to their family after welcoming their son Billie Jean, along with sons Liam and Sedona.
As for “Dancing with the Stars,” Affleck and Leavitt will join other contestants, including wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and social media influencer Alix Earle, as they compete for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Irwin expressed his excitement, calling it a dream come true, while Earle reminisced about watching the show with her grandmother, highlighting how special this opportunity is for them.
Finally, the lineup for Season 34 will be fully revealed soon, but fans can catch up with “The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife” on Hulu in the meantime. There’s certainly a lot to look forward to this fall, especially with the return of “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC and Disney+.
