As the first season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” wraps up, there's one less mom featured on MomTok.
Hulu's new reality show follows a group of Utah-based Mormon TikTok moms, including Whitney Leavitt, who finds herself falling out of click, eventually deciding to leave MomTok by the final episode.
Leavitt, 31, told The Washington Post exclusively that while she hasn't seen the show yet, it doesn't change her decision.
“Hopefully once the show airs, there will be more opportunities to share not just what the show is about, but why we made the decisions we did,” she explained.
“But the way I feel right now is I'm still happy,” Leavitt said.
Now that she's no longer appearing on MomTok, the question remains as to whether Leavitt will continue to appear on the reality show when it returns for a second season.
“I think my best answer to that question is I want to wait to see it,” she said. “I want to wait to see what is actually said and what is actually done.”
“It's kind of hard to make a decision when you don't know anything.”
Leavitt said she was unaware that the other women had decided to unfollow her on social media after she failed to show up to an event for Macy Neely, her closest friend in the group, as depicted on the show.
Neely, 29, told The Washington Post that being caught in the middle of the show's drama was “really stressful.”
“It was very disturbing because I heard both sides of the story,” she said. “I felt like I was caught in the middle. It was hard to hear them say not-so-nice things about Whitney and to hear Whitney be upset with them.”
“I felt like I was a matchmaker, and I didn't want to be that. I just want everyone to love each other,” Neely continued, “But when you get eight women with eight different personalities together, it's not always easy. Inevitably there's drama and people clash.”
In the season finale, Leavitt announced to his family: She's pregnant Giving birth to her third child.
She told the Post that she and Her husband, Connor, They plan to wait until the birth to find out the gender of their third baby, something they have never done before.
“This is the last game, so let's end it with a bang,” she said. “Tubes will be tied. Balls will be snitched. This is it. This is it.”
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is now available on Hulu.
