“Seinfeld” actor Michael Richards told Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Thursday night that comedy is “alive” despite the prevalence of “political correctness.”
Richards Reappeared Richards, who has made fewer appearances over the years to star in fellow “Seinfeld” star Jerry Seinfeld’s film “Unfrosted” and to promote his upcoming autobiography, “Entrance and Exit,” told Watters that his passion for comedy comes from a love of “making comedy.” [his] A montage of famous scenes featuring the actor who played Kramer played on a screen next to him, as the theme song to the film “Friends Laugh.”

“So you went on Fox News in your underwear?” Richards joked.
Jerry Seinfeld recently blamed the “crap” of the “far left” and “political correctness” for ruining modern comedy in an interview with The New Yorker. When Watters asked the “Seinfeld” actor if “political correctness is killing comedy,” Richards fired back. “I heard Jerry say a few weeks ago, ‘Political correctness is killing comedy. Is that true?'” Watters asked.
“Hmmm… I don’t know,” Richards responded. “Hmmm, I think people are just becoming more sensitive to what they’re saying about each other, and that’s a good thing. I guess in a way that’s where the comedy comes from, right?”
“That’s true,” Watters agreed with a smile.
“Comics are now starting to play around with political correctness,” Richards continued. “Haha is the epitome. It’s everywhere. It’s always going to be with us, and, well, it’s alive. It’s alive.”
