As Russia continues its war against Ukraine, one outspoken Republican senator is encouraging President Donald Trump to place Russian President Vladimir Putin in his place.
“Putin has made every promise he made to President Trump. His latest proposal is, well, he wants to maintain all the territory he has been taken,” R-La.
“He wants to ban Ukraine from joining NATO and hopes that the US and Europe will stop supporting Ukraine,” he added. “I think Putin thinks America has taken the bullet train to Champtown.”
A recent Fox News poll showed that 36% of Americans did not approve of President Trump’s job performance in Russia, while 39% did not approve of Ukraine’s handling. Voters are split over what to do with US support for Ukraine in the fight against Russia.

More airstrikes from Moscow faced the same period as President Trump and Ukrainian President Voldimiazelensky as the infamous oval office was in attendance in February, as he was attending Pope Francis’ funeral at Rom around the same time as President Trump and Ukrainian President Voldimiazelensky.
“I think he thinks we are afraid of him,” Senator Kennedy said of the Russian leader. “He jacked around President Trump every turn. He downplayed our president. I don’t think it will get better until we reveal to Putin that we are trying to turn him and his country into fish food.”

On Thursday, Trump asked Putin to “stop” Kiev and told the Kremlin he was “not happy” to continue his attack on Ukraine. The day before, on Wednesday, Trump blasted Zelensky after he said he didn’t recognize Russia’s control over Crimea, which Putin had invaded in 2014.
Putin has so far rejected several US proposals for peace deals, but the White House remains optimistic about Trump’s ability to end the war.

“We need to put Russia down and suffocate them, otherwise they’re not going to come to the table,” Kennedy said Sunday. “We want a settlement in Ukraine. We also have to ask Europe to do better. Europe must begin paying for its own bill.”
“If it wasn’t with US taxpayers, Putin would be in Paris now. We’ll have to do more in Europe. But mostly he emphasized, “We have to make Putin understand that there is a price to be paid to jack his president.”
