Sen. Ted Cruz says he will miss President Barack Obama as the ongoing migrant crisis at the southern border hits states like Texas. He thought this would never happen, he said.

“Look, I disagreed with Obama on a lot of policies, but he generally followed the law when it came to immigration,” Cruz explained. “What Joe Biden has done is something no president of any party has ever done before. He has a complete disregard for the law.”

Cruz said the only way to fix the crisis at the border is “to get a new president who actually enforces the laws.”
“The scale of the crisis at the border is indescribable until you see it firsthand,” he added. “As bad as you think it is, I promise you, it's much worse.”
Cruz said more than 10,000 people cross the southern border illegally into the United States every day. That would be a total of 9.6 million under Biden.
The Lone Star State senator said groups of illegal immigrants are turning themselves in to Border Patrol because “the Biden administration is asking them, 'Where do you want to go?' and sending them to those cities and states.” claims.
Mr. Cruz then noted that New York City Mayor Eric Adams has called the flood of immigrants coming into New York City a crisis that will destroy the Big Apple.
“That's 110,000 illegal immigrants,” he said. “I agree, New York is paying a real price for Biden opening the border, but if 110,000 people are destroying New York City, 9.6 million people are destroying Texas. What the hell do you think you’re doing to the rest of the southern border?”
