Sen. Warnock Pushes More Gun Laws Before GA Shooting Details Known

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) responded to news of the Apalachee High School shooting by calling for stricter gun control laws before details of the shooting were known.

In a post on X, Warnock said: Written“Unless we put people at the center, begin serious bipartisan conversations in Washington and in statehouses across the country to advance common-sense gun safety reform, the sad truth is that it's only a matter of time before a tragedy of this kind comes knocking on your door.”

He used another post say“Daily mass shootings are not the price of freedom, but the price of blind stubbornness. We don't have to live like this. It is shameful if we refuse to act when children are dying and no one is safe from gun violence.”

Warnock did not say what kind of gun control would stop people with criminal intent from achieving their desires, nor did he mention that California, which has implemented all of the gun control measures at the state level that Democrats are pushing at the federal level, led the nation in “active shooter” incidents in 2021 and 2023.

Breitbart News noted that President Biden had been pushing for stricter gun control measures even before details of the Apalachee High School shooting were revealed.
