The ban is the fourth Biden energy rule sent by Congressional Republicans to Trump to abolish it as part of a broader effort to dismantle the regulatory agenda of the previous administration.
“The Americans called for a new direction this November, and the Republican majority in the Trump administration and Congress have not wasted the time they've worked to provide relief from the burdensome regulations, especially when it comes to energy.” “Whether or not the cost of higher utility bills and other products at grocery stores is higher, it's the Americans who are ultimately responsible for the costs of these regulations. That's why they're working so hard to eliminate these and many other regulatory burdens.”

“Democrats are fighting war with household appliances under the guise of fighting climate change,” Cruz said after introducing a disapproved joint resolution in January. “The rules are rushed through by the Biden administration in the last few days, and do more harm than good, which forces American families to choose a high-end model or less efficient alternative.
